Growing up on a farm in rural Mississippi, Lee Parish learned from a young age what it meant to work hard and be a man of character. With parents who instilled a strong sense of faith, family and love of community in him and two older brothers who taught him how to be tough, a strong foundation was being built for future success. After college Lee began a career in banking, but quickly realized that is was not for him. So, he pivoted and began working in the equipment industry, eventually bringing him to Kubota Tractor Corporation.
While at Kubota his entrepreneurial spirit collided with the industry experience and his dreams began to form. In 2012, Lee left Kubota Tractor Corporation to turn his dream into reality and founded Parish Tractor Company. With the support of his wife and young children, he sold most of his assets and pledged the rest, to raise working capital and has not looked back since.
Today, Parish Tractor continues to grow, boasting hundreds of employees, and multiple locations, one of Kubota’s Top Volume dealers in North America and has been recognized as one of the best places to work and the largest privately held businesses in Mississippi. The company is now much larger than its founder, but it continues to operate under the principles etched in Lee's heart, honoring the Lord, helping people prosper, providing outstanding service, and ensuring communities thrive.
